I have a long commute each day on regional roads. Each day I think about the total cowardice of the NSW Government, the only State government in Australia that doesn't use average speed safety cameras for cars, only for trucks. They're a brilliant idea, and plenty on the road I'm on every day would need to change their driving behaviour pretty profoundly if they started checking cars too. Which just shows how effective they'd be. They're already installed on the Bathurst-Lithgow road.
