Lots of good sense here about housing, an area of Australian life with traditionally no sense at all. Anybody who tells you 'supply' is the issue is part of the problem. Note the important point that Councils approve far more buildings than are ever built. What needs to happen is what used to happen, governments need to build a lot more public housing. 'The market' never will, it devalues their other properties.
