Ah, tax cuts. Freeing us from the terrible burden of government stealing ‘our money’. Do you believe that sort of thing? I’d be interested to hear. Trump’s just-passed tax cuts will probably almost destroy the American economy, and the benefits flow all to the super-rich, who are his real constituency. Ditto for the proposed Australian tax cuts. We can be a lot smarter than this. These people are taking us for a ride.
