This is the Financial Times, in the UK. One of the most conservative papers. I’ve been saying for many years that China is a far better superpower to be leading the world. It’s been doing it for nearly 2000 years. It’s the only country taking climate change seriously, just for starters. China understands time. Time is its raw material, it builds continuity, it builds history.
