What a load of steaming bull turds. The fantasy that all we need is a 'market', consumer choice, to drive prices down. That rubbish is what has been driving prices UP, for years. I've used all of the energy comparison websites a lot, all they'll give you is a list of similarly expensive providers to go with. Notice the bit in here about 'developing habits' too. It's what conservatives call 'nudge' theory. Spend millions of public money funding propaganda campaigns to shift public behaviour towards free market fantasies. So a $250 bribe now, to force you to look at these websites and get used to using them. They actually have taxpayer-funded 'nudge units', I kid you not. Kick this bunch of morons out. The same ones who use this same idiot theory to run a pandemic i.e. the personal choice pandemic. Like you can choose whether to catch Covid or not.
