Professor Talisse is a clever man. If you want to have fun, don’t try to have fun, if you want friendship, don’t try to make friends. If you want democracy, don’t try to have democracy. Democracy comes when people have other things in common. The reason our democracies are struggling is because our societies are being broken up into sub-groups with little in common and with little interaction. I think Facebook is an important push in the other direction.
