After more than a year, people still not getting it. Elimination *is* still having a 'few cases' of Covid in the community. It's not eradication. What these economic thinkers mean is open right up, and contact trace outbreaks. It's an exponential virus, that is IMPOSSIBLE. You can't finesse an exponential, it will destroy you. Every country that has tried, without exception, has failed. It's basic maths. And the patronising 'we need to learn to live with risks'.
