The public have been told that Covid has become ‘endemic’. It’s a lie, it will never be an endemic virus. Endemic means it’s always there, but at very low levels, with occasional small outbreaks. Covid is and always will be an epidemic virus. This is the UK data, the red is current infection rates. Classic epidemic waves, infecting millions of people. I’ve added a line in blue for what endemic would look like. Again, Covid will never be that. There’s a feeling that Covid will eventually settle down to the endemic low level. But smallpox as a comparison remained epidemic for over 300 years. Only a vaccine stopped it. The current vaccines won’t do that for Covid, it’s far too immune-evasive. Look at the UK red line there, it hasn’t budged since 2019, wave after wave after wave. It will remain an epidemic killing machine.
