What Musk is trying to do with Trump in the US, Australia already did, with Robodebt. He wants to take over government departments and replace them with software. For that, Tesla property and Tesla owners have become targets. Let me ask the moral vacuum I see out there now. Is that how we should have approached Robodebt? Burning down LNP offices, targeting LNP supporters, threatening them and their propery to force them to vote for somebody else? No? So have a look in the mirror at what you support. Mob rule and vigilantism are indiscriminate. If you back it when it’s for a cause you believe in, your ‘team’, how will you feel when it turns on you and the things you cherish and believe in? Because it will. It is incoherent rage. You don’t get a little controlled amount of mob violence, once this begins as normal behaviour, it’s game over for everything. Looters are indiscriminate, ask shop owners when basic civic orders breaks down.
