My kids are gentle. In the libertarian, individualistic times we're living in, gentleness is sometimes seen as weakness. 'Strong' people are seen as those who assert themselves at the expense of others, aggressive and 'tough'. But gentle is like gravity. By far the weakest force in the universe, but also the force that shapes everything. Gentleness isn't the absence of strength, it's strength applied with finesse and precision, bending to meet the situation as it finds it.
