You’ll see this in many new EVs. It’s a monitoring camera to check if the driver is falling asleep. Just one more safety technology that is desperately needed for driving, so many accidents are related to fatigue. Humans are appalling drivers, even (and especially) those who pride themselves as great drivers. They think it means how fast they can go around corners.
