There was a time when these numbers would have outraged Australians. The reason it doesn't now is that they're being deliberately led to not care. Groups are always led, whether it's a committee or a society. They 'follow the leader'. The leader of NSW is on a business trip to Korea, and couldn't care less about this tidal wave of death.
