Why is the idea of a 4-day working week so slow to move forward? We're all well-trained hamsters. Look at Daylight Savings as an example. We all wanted an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day for social activity. We could have collectively decided to knock-off an hour early to do that. Instead we all fawn over the ridiculous business-generated alternative. We fiddle with the clocks to steal an hour of daylight from the morning, so us hamsters can still work the same long day.
