More patterns. A desire path or desire line (wonderful name) is a path people or animals take when left to their own devices. Often they sit right next to existing paths, like this one here. But I’m even more interested in the question that all patterns raise - who or what causes a pattern? No individual does, no group does either. Looks like an easy question, but I think there’s an important mystery in play here - what does ‘we’ mean?
