This is how most of us come to experience our bodies, we push and pull all day, like we're operating levers. The problem is, how do all these supposed levers connect together to form an integrated body? (They can't.) And the elephant in the room is - you can't lever yourself. It's like trying to lift yourself up with your own shoelaces. Try this instead. Simply open your awareness to where you want to go or to what you're doing, and *allow* your body to release into your activity, at the same time. Like seeing a friend in the distance and saying "hey there, how are you?" as you walk over to them, at the same time. You'll feel your body release as you're doing that, following your awareness, springing you towards them. Your body is elastic, not a set of levers. Takes practice, but it can change your life.
