There have been many criticisms of 'boomer' culture. Nearly always misunderstood as being about them as supposedly horrible human beings. But it's a *cultural* criticism, about a mindset and attitude. About the substitution of life, with lifestyle. About eternal youth (rock stars in their 80s, ffs). Ultimately about real damage to the very idea of being old. It's the generation that implemented high school culture, as adult culture, the cult of the perpetual teenager. It was all they knew, the adult world had been broken by war and plague. Some boomers get it. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/dec/30/baby-boomers-led-the-cult-of-youth-now-we-should-heed-the-wisdom-of-age
