I like Harrison, I love Americans. But this is a whole lot of hot air, I think. We don’t need more science, or nature, we need Americans to ditch the Wild West, Puritan fantasy which stops them trusting any institution with more than about 6 people in it. The fantasy that makes too many of them think they need assault weapons to protect themselves from themselves. They hate their own government, so give up with global politics - the Chinese and Russians will step in, because the Americans can’t and won’t. That Puritan ethos is poison, and seemingly indestructible. Speeches will change nothing, institutions will. Protests won’t change anything, strong anger and other emotions won’t either. If Americans joined unions, they’d probably save the world. They won’t do that.
