In the 1970s, rock shows as we know them today were invented. It was an exciting time. But since then, has anybody really invented anything new with them? Better lights and sound technology, big screens, sure, but those are just tweaks. It's all become a bit formulaic, nobody has come up with new innovation in ways to present a rock show? St Vincent's last tour, maybe?
