The TMJ (jaw) is the most complex joint in the body. And because of that, it can lead to all sorts of problems that aren't often linked back to it. Problems nowhere near your jaw, like in your neck, shoulders, even hips. In your breathing, in migraine headaches, balance/dizziness, tinnitus, etc. A hugely worthwhile thing to try is to get this joint into the 'neutral' position in anything you do. To do that is easy, you place your tongue along the top of your mouth, with the tip behind your front teeth. Then have your jaws gently apart, with lips closed, as you sit or do anything during your day. You might be surprised the huge impact that can have on your body, that one little thing. Those concerned with their posture for example, may notice a profound change to that, just using this one exercise.
