8 April

I'm watching the V8 e-series, and it's fascinating. Unable to race because of the pandemic, they're doing it virtually. They even went from an Oz track to Monza, in the space of a few minutes. Easy to chuckle at it as 'not real', but it is real, the drivers feel it, the commentators are into it. Virtual is not not-real. Another distinction the pandemic may help to get rid of, as we live largely virtual lives for a year or more.
