The reason I post about ideas and less about my self and my life is that I think our lives really are just ideas. It doesn't look like it for 'ordinary' life, but it is. Every tiny thing we do, every little day trip with our family, comes from a belief of some form, a belief based on some idea. For example the people who say 'don't overthink it, just live', are slaves to an idea, of living. Keynes saw it. All society, and all the people in it, is circulating ideas. Ideas are eternal things, they're not 'our' ideas, they can be shared by millions, across generations. They're actual beings. What Aristotle called the 'unexamined life' is a life enslaved to unnoticed ideas, we become animated puppets to the ideas that create us.
