Filled up the hybrid this morning. I drive hundreds of km every week, split 50:50 between the Tesla and the Toyota hybrid. The hybrid cost me $100 in fuel for the fortnight. That’s a hybrid, it’d be $200-$300 for a full petrol or diesel. What did the Tesla cost me for its half of the fortnight’s commuting? $9. And it was brutally, gloriously powerful and silent, extreme driving enjoyment.
