CSU was the worst I’ve ever seen for meetings. Every day full of them, from beginning to end. It wasn’t always like that, changes at the top end brought total incompetence at that level, and the organisation spent all day trying to figure out what it should be doing, with the void at the top providing either no guidance, or ridiculous plans that staff had to try to force-feed into some sort of reality. That’s what all the meetings were about, ‘what the hell are we doing here?’ Not sure if any of that has improved. Despite the bad press local government gets, I average zero meetings per week there.
