Some politicians will tell you superannuation is 'your money', so you should be able to withdraw it whenever you like. That's a lie designed to destroy the super system. Look at those tax rates, a huge portion of your super is publicly-funded, through enormous tax concessions. And that 0% tax at pension age? Watch that one disappear for Gen X and younger.
