When Rupert Murdoch dies, it will trigger something fascinating. His 4 oldest children (circled in red) each have an equal vote on what happens with the business. Lachlan is the chosen one while Rupert is alive, but the other 3 have fundamentally different views to Lachlan, and will likely have him removed as CEO of Murdoch's businesses. They'd already asked that FOX stop being an attack dog for Republicans in the US and the LNP in Australia, and were knocked back. Rupert, and through him Lachlan, are on borrowed time.
