The new Vauxhall (Europe's Holden) Frontera is launching next year with the petrol and EV versions exactly the same price. EVs now arriving at price parity (they'll then become the cheaper option). Which in reality means the EV is already far cheaper, because it will have almost zero maintenance, and will cost much, much less to 'fuel'.
