Chinese car makers are growing fast. Chery is one I'd never even heard of, but it's the biggest exporter of cars in China. This EV (they have petrols and hybrids too) gets excellent reviews, on price and equipment and driveability. Reality will win as always, once these cheaper EVs hit the market here, why would you spend more on something that costs you $2.20 a litre to fuel as well? 7 year unlimited warranty. A few years ago people scoffed about KIA, now it's a dominant force here. Before that Hyundai - same. Haval's sales are up more than double too. Asia is smart, it's going to dominate the next century. Or two.
