So muso friends. Is it just me or does the EVH tone sound rubbish? No clarity or harmonic richness. Years of dicking around with guitars and amps and if anything the sound has gone backwards. Most of it seems to have been driven by big sponsorship deals with amp and guitar makers anyway, rather than anything really innovative in terms of tone. And Eddie spends more time on developing his merchandise than he does practicing guitar these days, same old licks again, some dive-bombs etc. And has he had work done to his face?
