Pascoe does some great analysis here of the stripping of ordinary people of their wages and working conditions. This isn’t just about fairness either. A healthy ‘economy’ is cashed-up customers. You can give as many tax cuts and incentives to business as you like, if their customers have no money, businesses will make no money.
