In Spring, Summer and Autumn we accumulate surpluses to pay for any winter grid power we need. We had hundreds in surplus even after winter. A licence to print money. Can heat or air condition the entire house, and still print money. Nothing can beat the ROI of solar. (Now at 48kWh exported for the day.) Also we bought a battery not just for ROI, but for energy security. This summer may be a good example.
