One of my hobbies is making ice cream. I use dextrose (which is just glucose) instead of ordinary table sugar, to avoid the fructose which is really bad for you. You can buy dextrose in supermarkets or brewing shops, it’s used a lot in brewing. It means the ice cream doesn’t have the negative health effects ordinary ice cream has, including being fattening. Delicious. One of the interesting things about social media is that people will use it as evidence of the life you’re living. I’m the opposite, almost nothing of the life I live makes it onto social media. Peoples’ thoughts are a much better way to get close to them, as people, but you find almost none of that on FB. Social media is 99% posturing, how people want to be perceived by others. It’s being at school, forever.
