The battle of ideas. The ALP returning to the idea that government needs to INVEST in the community, heavily. Full employment, rather than a permanent pool of unemployed used to drive wages and conditions down. The LNP still running with the trickle-down idea, that you let a tiny handful of people hoover up most of the money, and then hopefully turn it into jobs. My view? Trickle-down hasn't worked, anywhere, over the past 50 years. Time to give it up.
