Superb. Latour uses the analogy of The Truman Show to talk about the 'economisation of society'. Where all the relations that make up social life are corralled into a handful of 'economic' relations, using millions of data processing bullshit jobs to do the conversion, becoming 'the economy', to replace society itself. Like the fake world Truman lived in.
