How do people not notice these waves-upon-waves of protesting outrage? The pattern that dominates our social media culture? No 'community says no' to anything. The community is not a person, with points of view and feelings. All of this is seeded or astroturfed by a handful of people who don't even live in our communities, who have an axe to grind with some other social group. They don't actually care about AI, or Covid, or wind farms, or solar panels, or whatever. Those are just things they weaponise to fire up new troops, in their social team's rivalry over other social teams.
