This is what social media is doing. Australia already built virtually nothing, we’re a quarry for other countries, with our local political flag-saluting halfwits obligingly ripping up what puny royalties we got for that too. Now you couldn’t run a lemonade stand without some motivated group of morons mobilising resistance through social media. Australia needs desperately fast, urgent acton on things like renewable energy. Not just for climate change but because it’s our economic future. It’s stalling because of community opposition that is off with the fairies, peddling idiot conspiracy theories. What do people think will keep Australia running?
