The world is full of such nice people. Spoke to a person yesterday whose work ute got trapped in floodwaters. Came back the next morning to try to retrieve it, and found somebody had been overnight, flogged all of the gardening machinery off the back of the ute, and drilled out all of the locks on the toolboxes, to help themselves to all of the tools as well. I'd put money on the person who did this voting for politicians with strong 'law and order' platforms.
