I’ve posted lots here about the wisdom of crowds, the now well known phenomenon where crowds, under the right conditions, are smarter than any of the people in them. What smug people with superiority complexes are labelling ‘panic’ right now I think is the crowd being well ahead of decision makers. It’s not their fault shops and other organisations aren’t responding quickly enough.
