On Thursday we set a new record in NSW. 7600MW of power was generated by renewables alone, in the mid-afternoon. On Thursday about 60% of the State’s total power was provided by renewables. That’s the majority of power used by NSW. Most of it came from ordinary rooftop solar, on people’s houses, feeding back into the grid.
