NZ'ers discovering that the new BYD Shark ute is $24,000 (that's 24 THOUSAND) dollars cheaper than the Ford Ranger Raptor. And it's faster than the Raptor. And a much higher quality vehicle, in the engineering sense. And uses no fuel for everyday driving, and less on long trips. The Shark is projected to be even cheaper in Australia.
