Seen the price of sending a package through OzPost lately? Makes your eyes water. And those awful loss-making letters. That's why it was a public service. Ain't the 'efficient' private sector grand, consumers paying shedloads more for gas, electricity, the post, health. And CEOs and shareholders pocketing the profits. You almost want to give up trying with the privatisation crowd, they're stupid zealots who are immune to evidence. (Actually often they're not stupid, they're just getting rich on the proceeds.)
