It usually takes a decade or so to develop a new vaccine. With funding it’s now been done inside a year. You could make a list of things we’ve been told society can’t afford - free childcare, free dentistry, affordable houses, fewer hours of work, healthier cities, beautiful landscapes, less debt and higher wages, great schools, access to great health care etc. We could easily afford all of those things. So ask yourself every day - where is the money going instead?
