In the mid-20th century, more than twice as many people were born every year as died, in Japan. That’s now flipped entirely the other way, now twice as many people die there every year as are born. This is a trend happening in most places in the world, and why immigration is the only thing keeping most countries afloat importing younger workers. But the populist politics of geriatric old societies hates immigration. Which will accelerate the rapid collapse of countries even faster. Remember most countries are now giant aged care facilities, with no staff.
