Good on Sammy for despairing at the social breakdown afflicting all of us. But like all rock star culture, the diagnosis here is all about feelings. Love vs hatred. As if the problem is an outbreak of people being nasty to each other, and ‘all you need is love’ to fix it. It’s the ‘all you need is love’ kidult crap that caused the hatred and division. Humans will ALWAYS fight each other, for dominance in status hierarchies, unless their cultures have collective mechanisms to control status. We had those. They were things like monarchies, and religions. Functionally designed to suck the oxygen out of status games elsewhere in societies. The things ‘all you need is love’ kidultism destroyed.
