Snoring is one of those things like sitting, said to be bad for you, and yet so many do it. I have wondered if one of the reasons so many people snore, and sleep badly generally, is because we sleep on flat beds. Are we really built to sleep on a flat surface? If you look at other apes, their beds sink in the middle, they're like big round wicker chairs that were popular in the 1960s and 1970s. And somebody has built a bed based on chimpanzee bed design, note that it has rockers underneath too. Whereas sleeping flat gives the body no support at all.
