Household electricity use is actually quite a small component of household budgets. A much, much bigger component of those budgets is what it costs for people to fuel their vehicles. That’s also part of your energy bill. People like SKY Australia won’t talk about that, because they want to attack renewables and EVs, things that fix both problems at the same time. They’re acting for the fossil fuel industry, not for households.
