The early BYD Shark ute reviews are starting to come in. I knew it would be good. I didn't realise just how good. It's a Ford Ranger killer. (The Ranger is the current gold standard ute.) Twice the power and also bigger tray and interior. More kit in the interior, and more luxury trim. Same towing capacity as the Raptor. It's faster than the Raptor. It will be between 20-30 thousand dollars CHEAPER than a Raptor. I've seen serious motoring journalists say they're genuinely thinking this ute may destroy every other manufacturer in the segment. It does all of this while costing zero dollars in fuel for up to 100 km of motoring on every charge. With 840 km of range when driving as a hybrid.
