Covid infection can lead to significant increased risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Taking low-dose aspirin appears to significantly reduce that risk, by over 50%. The two drugs that seem most powerful in reducing long-term harm from Covid have been around for years and are super cheap. Aspirin and metformin. Most believe the acute phase of Covid, when you catch it, is the measure of how serious it is. They have a 'mild' experience and think that's it, not serious. It's the long-term effects you don't see that are far more dangerous.
