The two biggies in virus mitigation - ‘living with the virus’ - biting the dust. Will we suffer long enough to understand that it’s our way of life that is the cause of this pandemic, not the virus? Insecure work and unshared wealth means people can’t do the basic act that protects us - shelter. In fact we’re so insane we recast basic shelter as ‘lockdown’. Pandemics throughout history have tried to teach us this, we never listen for long.
