We were in Broken Hill to visit Kell’s sister, who’s a doctor with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The old hangar is featured in 7’s RFDS series, and you can see the pretend offices they’ve set up for filming. (The hangar used today is next door.) Not usually a fan of Channel 7 drama, but we watched RFDS and it’s actually good. Though a little more dramatic than the real thing, unsurprisingly.
