Another example of how those who take power from working people operate. Paul Murray sometimes tours the country with his show and creates a town hall vibe, pretending he’s tapping into the lives of ordinary people, where they live. It’s a sham, if you listen to Murray when his show is back in the studio, it’s all about the big end of town. Rupert is his boss. I admire their genius in both screwing working people, and then capturing their anger to direct back against themselves, criticising unions, welfare, single parents, a living wage etc. This genial-looking friend of the people is a highly paid bastard, selling jingoism that doesn’t put one cent back in workers’ pockets.
